Food and drink lovers will be spoilt for choice at this year’s Royal Norfolk Show on Wednesday 29 June and Thursday 30 June with a mouth-watering food and drink line-up announced!
From street vendors and artisan producers to brewers and distillers, this year’s show will feature not just its largest ever array of food and drink experiences, but also a number of tasty new experiences that have never been seen before at the show!
“Food and drink are two of the most popular experiences at the show and every year we try to serve up something new and exciting! This year’s show will be no different with the showground packed from top to bottom with a bountiful supply of existing and new food experiences that will satisfy anyone’s taste buds!” said Fearn Ainsworth, Commercial Development Manager of the Royal Norfolk Agricultural Association.
Here are a few highlights!
Norwich Junkyard Market – NEW – For the first time ever, the hugely popular Junkyard Market will be bringing its bustling, open-air, forward-thinking street food experience to the show over the two-days. From chicken wings and Mexican food to Christophe’s Crepes to Moco Kitchen the Junkyard Market will be bursting with local traders, global cuisines, cocktails, beer, wine and a stunning line-up of Norfolk’s finest DJs!
Adnams Food and Drink Experience – Returning to the show will be the gastronomic delight of the Adnams Food and Drink Experience which will house over 100 different food and drinks producers, merchants and artisans selling everything from cheeses and chutneys to pickles and pizza! Indulge in cakes, cookie pies, coffee and cupcakes from the likes of the Instagramable Bakeaholics or maybe try a dish or treat from Farmyard who will beshowcasing their ‘Frozen for Foodies’ range which includes handcrafted Beef Wellington and their signature Farmyard chocolate bar. Showgoers will also be able to enjoy free tastings and expert advice from the popular Adnams beer truck and pop-up shop at the show. Knowledgeable staff will also be on hand offering expert advice, along with a wide range of Adnams beers and handcrafted spirits to take home.
Woodforde’s Jubilee Square – Norfolk’s award-winning Woodforde’s Brewery will be celebrating the Queen’s Jubilee in style at this brand-new area of the show. Along with showcasing its range of cask ales and keg craft beers, including a seasonal brew created especially for show, the square will feature a host of food vendors and a diverse range of local musicians and performers from 6pm on the Wednesday.
Jarrold – Also new to the show this year will be Jarrold’s pop-up eatery. Located in a beautifully styled space next to the Grand Ring showgoers will be able to enjoy luxury platters serving cheeses, cured meats, antipasti and other indulgent accompaniments all serviced with a range of perfectly paired wines for, ‘fingers-crossed’, the finest summertime dining experience!
On top of these fantastic experiences, they’ll also be a host of street vendors and mobile catering units right across the showground ensuring no grumbling tummies are left behind!
From sweet treats and dirty fries to gourmet coffee and more there will be something for everyone at this year’s show!
