Come on, feel the noise at the Royal Norfolk Show’s music stages, organised by Norfolk Music Hub. This year, Norfolk Music Hub will host four stages of live music running throughout both days with performances by young people from across the county.
In collaboration with Play Produce Promote, Access Creative and Pica Pica, Pica Pica!, New Noise is an initiative to showcase the younger musical talent from across Norfolk. The stage will host the brand-new Battle of the Bands competition on Thursday, June 27.
The Battle of the Bands competition will be judged by a panel of exciting celebrity guests. Duncan James from the boy band Blue will be on the panel, having just returned from Blue’s Greatest Hits Tour. Arranger, choir director and vocal coach Mark De-Lisser, who is best known for his vocal arrangement of ‘Stand By Me’ for the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, will also be judging. “Battle of the Bands is an exciting new addition to our Royal Norfolk Show performances and will feature a variety of acts that will perform in front of crowds and industry experts,” said Tim Brain, Norfolk Music Hub strategic development manager.
