Mmmmm An exhibit which contains a range of edible plants and flowers. Yum!
literary garden
An exhibit which highlights an author or book. for example, celebrating 250 years since Jane Austen’s birth, elements from Beatrix Potter stories or Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carrol

wheelbarrow display
You will be provided with a standard wheelbarrow which already contains soil ready for you to create your exhibit in.
school garden
A 2m x 2m plot that will be prepared prior to your arrival with kickboards and filled with topsoil.
3. write a design brief …
each exhibit will be judged against the judging criteria and the designer’s brief.
The brief document itself will not be judged but provides the judges with background information regarding your exhibit.
Our Head Horticultural Judge, Kristopher is happy to share his expertise and advice to assist EDUCATIONAL GROUPS in the planning and design process, if you are unsure of anything or would like to explore your ideas.
Your brief should include:
▪ About 300 words describing the concept behind your exhibit
▪ A sketch/plan, in any form, of your concept for your exhibit
▪ Any additional information about your exhibit
▪ a list of Plants included in your exhibit
