Last year’s Royal Norfolk Show saw the launch of the Youth artist of the year competition in celebration of the art gallery’s 50th Anniversary.
The competition promotes A-Level, Further Education & Higher Education art
and is an exciting opportunity to showcase talent.
Daisy Troth, a student at Norwich University of the Arts, fought fierce competition
but the judges were compelled by her unique style, bold line work and use of negative space,
earning her the title of the first Youth Artist of the Year 2024.
Could you be this year’s winner?
We are on the hunt for 2025’s Youth Artist of the Year.
We want to see your work, as it is; there is no chosen subject.
Your piece can be work you are submitting for exams and assessments – but it is entirely up to you.
Not only does the competition itself lend you valuable exposure, you could also win the chance
to exhibit at the Royal Norfolk Show for 3 years – commission and fee free!
As well as an art voucher and free tickets.
